Found tabby kitten

Hi,

I've found a tabby kitten this morning well my neighbours across the road did. They saw me and asked me to take it in as I have 3 cats already. I've put it in it's own room and it's had two pouches of food and is very firendly. I'm going to put some poster up and I've logged it on missing pet websites. if not i'll find it a home or maybe keep it either way it wont go hungry. How old do you think it is from the photos. I think it's less then 12weeks but the picture make it look a bit older. Going to phone the vet in the morning to get it scanned and look at. It is does seem to young to be out and a bit skinny.

Thanks

Re: Found tabby kitten

could be lost or could be another one thrown out on the streets, either way i think the little baby would be better off with you he actually looks very comfortable with you already

Re: Found tabby kitten

I think he would be at least 12 weeks, possibly a bit older.
He looks like a MC or NFC cross to me. He is fairly big, and has rather long hair for a moggie.

Even if he is from a liter you do not wish to keep, you don't throw a cat like that into the street, I would think. If it looks even remotely like a pedigree, there are people who want to pay for it.

Re: Found tabby kitten

Thanks for all the replies.

Yeah I thought he might be a pedigree cross from some of the mc photos i've seen on here but wasn't sure. I am very suprised no one seems to be looking for him/her at the moment. it's very happy with us, slept on my bed with me all night bless. tried the vets but no one is answering so they might be closed today. I'll do a door knock soon.

Re: Found tabby kitten

Well done you for caring and taking this little one in

Aww he's a very cute kitten I'd say he's around 12 weeks, his paws look quite big, but that could just be the photo

Keep us updated on how you get on at the vet, finding his owner etc.
