Bola vs a clock
#1 cat Bola has started sleeping on a chair in the dining room, tho' he'd never shown any interest in the granddaughter clock behind it.............till today. I heard but didn't see what happened and can only assume he leapt on top of the clock which promptly overbalanced
Luckily both chair and clock are in a corner of the room so the clock couldn't fall far, but far enough to get the chimes going. The din made me jump but must have sounded like the gates of Hell opening to him judging by the speed he bolted thro' the flap at. He won't be doing it again in a hurry, that's for sure ![]() Ian

Re: Bola vs a clock
As it did me once I'd found out what had happened, tho' he couldn't see the funny side.
I wouldn't have been broken hearted had the clock hit the floor and shattered into fragments tbh, I can't remember the last time it was wound up, only that the chimes are a loud pita. As it is, it just sits in the corner gathering dust. Ian

Re: Bola vs a clock
He was back within minutes, it'd take more than a scare to keep him away from *his* chair
