Really glad you're keeping tiggs! Hope alls ok with you! My first hubby was a prat, I got away from him with 2 small children, you can do the same. It's not easy but a hell of a lot better than living scared!

hi all soz for delaying in replying but my pains / sore from falling down stairs as turned out worse than first imagined. I seem also not only badly bruised internally my left side ,back, ribs but it has effected/ bruised my hernia which prevents me sleeping so is causing vomiting etc. from the stomach
Still in pain but slowly improving but feeling yuk at the Mo so glad I still have the cat as he has been such company for me
Being ill has even changed hubby for the better he seems much warmer to the cat, before he was uneasy to stroke him but now he his a lot different even on his own impulse he buys cat food, so thanks for giving me support and telling me to keep the cat.
By the way I bruised his eye didn't mean it but I will stand up for myself

Hi Tiggs1, lovely to hear back from you although sorry to read that your fall was much worse than first realised.

However, the expression of "Every cloud has a silver lining" seems to be true in this case. You being poorly has meant that your OH has had to care more for Tiggs and that appears to have resulted in a big step forward in their relationship. So hopefully, no future worries about where Tiggs will be living.

Standing up to your OH, and giving him a black eye (nice one! ) has obviously given him a bit of a shocker and made him realise what an a*se he has been. They do say that standing up to bullies is the best way to manage them.

Hoping you feel loads better soon and looking forward to hearing more from you and with some pics of Tiggs too.
