Re: My Lil' Boy Junior...

LOL jingle bells haha like that!

OMG WHAT A DAY!

He freaked this morning trying to put him in the cat carrier. Am i talking, proper freaking, he was racing back and forth in the flat. I closed one of the doors and he actually got thru it. Can't have been bigger than his head. I ended up shutting all the doors and just watched him run up and down the hallway fretting. Poor guy. When I rugby tackled him, he was petrified in that the whites of his eyes were showing. Felt SO bad. Eventually got him in his basket fearing that all the hard work making him social and friendly in the last two weeks had gone out the window.

I was sooooo right.

I picked him up at 3pm. Got him home and put him in the bedroom thnking he will be dozy. Nope. He freaked again cos now he is scared stiff of me. Legged it to the door and hid behind the xmas tree. I had to take the bin out cos it was really stinky... and when I got back, I ushed him away from the door. As I was doing this, the little mite jumped OVER my head and escaped.

I went all round the neighbourhood calling him but knowing full well that he wouldn't come near me. So i came home. I kept spotting him hovering near the flat on the grass outside and him and Jesse started playing. This was the first problem as Junior follows Jesse around. 2 hours in, I got Jesse in.

I tied some string around the door handle cos I knew that if i went to the door Junior would run. I then cooked up some fish and let the wafts of in run in the air... he said by the door but wouldn't come in. If i went anywhere near him, he'd run off.

In desperation I tried an age old trick which I think Tom and Jerry and other cartoons depict. I threw a bit of fish out the door andhe ate it... I threw another bit of fish nearer my step... he came nearer. I threw another on the stop... he ate it. I threw another bit just inside the door... he came and ate it... so i put the whole bowl down right inside the doorway. BINGO - I yanked the door ... he cottoned on and started reversing - i bopped him on his bum and he tried to get out the door sideways... I pulled on the string hard (hoping it wouldn't snap) and got the door shut. HOORRAYYY I DID IT !! 4 HOURS LATER WOOP WOOP

..

..

Phew.

Im now on my second very large vodka !!!
