Re: Christmas dinner :D

The cats and dogs in this house all have a christmas dinner even with a bit of veg, which does get eaten surprisingly plus they get to have their treats in the evening and some sort of fish for tea.

On boxing day they will all help finish the turkey.

On News Years Eve they all have some of the buffet that we put on and then their favourite is News Day where they all have a fry up.

Hmm think they are spoilt

Re: Christmas dinner :D

Smokey used to always have some turkey (I remember feeding him under the table when I was like 5, haha!), he loved all things poultry.

My new kitties... I'm not sure what they'll be getting. We're going to my OH's mom's for Xmas dinner this year as we take it in turns each year, I wonder if I'm feeling brave enough to ask for any leftover turkey. Maybe I'll get a turkey leg or something especially for them. :3

Turkey, turkey and more turkey. They would eat the whole bird if I let them.

Re: Christmas dinner :D

Hercules is a feline dustbin so will be having a little of everything - he adores sprouts with turkey and a little gravy. He also nicked some of my mince pie the other night... however he wont be allowed that again!!! (Homemade mince pies with a "tad" too much booze in them... put it this way you cant eat them and drive!!!!)

Spartacus has more refined taste so may have some turkey (only if it is juicy) but will more than likely be found enjoying a spot of salmon... with perhaps some sausagemeat stuffing.

As mum is coming to mine, she will be sent home with some Turkey for mums cat to enjoy. Daft cat ruined christmas dinner a few years ago by deciding to tuck into the turkey while it was resting and we were opening presents at my nans. Poor thing hasn't been allowed turkey since so I thought I'd send her some over...

Re: Christmas dinner :D

We've got some Bozita in Reindeer and Turkey flavours for breakfast time, but they'll be getting some of our food too later on. Also wrapped up some Reindeer food for boyfriend's parent's cat.

Re: Christmas dinner :D

Mine will be getting roast turkey - and as we are having smoked salmon for breakfast, they will get a tiny bit of that on their breakfast too
