Cat christmas presents?

So like everyone else we've all been busy doing the christmas shopping. None of us bother trying to find out what each other's bought or whatever so when the presents are wrapped they all go in the same storage space before going under the tree on christmas eve.

Looking at the pile guess who's got the biggest present?

Yes...Max! And he's already tried opening it!

Between us we've bought him a decent sized cat tree, it comes flat pack but the box it's in is huge! He's also getting a cat-nip cushion and his own stocking and he's nearly finished with his advent calendar.

Who else is spoiling their cat's then this year?

Re: Cat christmas presents?

Bloo and Freckle have a new treat puzzle and a variety of toys already wrapped. I'm still waiting on a few to arrive on order - I'm so lucky that Freckle's favourite are an american product and rarely found here

They aren't getting too much as we go away on the 27th and they can't take anything too big to boarding. To make up for it, they are getting a lot for their 2nd birthday at the end of March - including a catio

Haha yea I know they are spoilt. It's always been a family thing that the animals get presents, Mum and Dad started it. Then Grandma joined and started calling herself Granny Cat/Granny Guinea Pig/Granny Fish. I obviously inherited the animal crazy gene from somewhere haha. Grandmas even done a stocking each for the 4 guinea pigs!

Since we've been adopting from rescue as well we have only gotten worse. It only seems fair to spoil them all after who knows what previous life they had.

Re: Cat christmas presents?

Yup! Same here - our lot will have more pressies than the OH & I put together.

I got 4 Santa Paws bags (see below) - one each - and have got them lots of various treats to go in them. I had ordered some festive cat-nip kickers but they have not been received so I have to go to P@H tomorrow night to do an emergency shop. Any recommendations on GOOD cat-nip items would be appreciated.

They also have a new Bergen race-track that I am REALLY looking forward to putting up - no more lost balls under the sofa!!!!!
