thanks IM poor thing probably needs AB as well luckily i got the vet to squeeze us in as they were really booked luckily they make quite a bit out of me with all my gang so make allowances lol

So i will keep her in the lounge tonight its nice and warm in there with some things you know water, food litter tray and hopefully when we come back from vets she doesn't have to be trapped for too long, i just hate shutting them in a room

Re: Advice and info needed from persian owners/lovers

I think it's a very unfair thing to say that Persian breeders are in it for the money. It's tarring us all with a brush that most of us don't deserve to be tarred with. We're in it to better the breed, just as any other breeder is, with the exception of the few in EVERY breed who are in it for the money.

Persians do have runny eyes, yes, but if the discharge is thick, sticky or smelly, it means she's got an infection and needs to be seen. She could be snuffly if she is a flat face, but no more than a human baby snuffly if that makes sense. Steaming works wonders. I did this with tia last year when she got some horrible bunged up thing that got her to the point where she couldn't smell a thing. it really loosens it all. you could also clean the nose with a damp baby wipe if she's crusting on the outside of the nostrils.
