Gypsy update WITH PICCYS
gypsys still doing well, shes even let me change her babys over to a bigger better box as hers was a lil small and she kept sitting on the kids,
on a sadder note i am very dissapointed and if im honest disgusted and angry with certain members of my family/friends as since 2 of the babys are black they no longer want them,  they have both said they only want fernando but have both been told they can get stuffed due to there shallowness, fernando has a home lined up already. i will find the girls "forever" homes else they will stay with me!

It is really sad to hear this, I don't understand such people and it's disgusting as you said it yourself. But I am sure you'll find nice and loving families for the other 2, there are many people that like black cats. When I decide I want my third cat, I'll definately look for a black one, it's something I've thought for a long time. They are beautiful, like little black panthers.
Just as an idea, if your Gypsy had 1 black kitten and 2 kittens like Fernando ... I believe anyone would fight to get the black one  Aren't some people "special"?!

Oh they are all just adorable!! I can't believe how shallow people are and I would totally tell them to go and stuff themselves as well!
 If we hadn't only just got two kittens - I would be tempted myself!

Grrrrrrrr I don't get why people don't like black cats either. They look fabulous, regal and well just gorgeous! I remember when I went to choose Susie and Leo and I wanted black and white cats, there was a pretty long haired tabby ball of fluff like you could barely see her face with all the fur and I asked if she was available (in jest) and low and behold she was the first one gone to the sister. Ha family always get first dibs!
Well lets face it you want forever loving homes with a family that love the kittens beautiful black fur.

I am sorry to say this, but in the past I was one of those disgusting, superficial people who said claimed not to want black cats (or b/w cats) as I found them boring and common. I was also a tad superstitious but this was not my main reason if I am honest.
I wanted a tabby or ginger kitten and even told Battersea & RSPCA that I would go on the waiting list for one. Then I went to CP and met Maya Kit 1 & 3, (AKA Wilbur & Oscar) and completely went against my 'requirements' and just fell in love instead. The moment my hand was sniffed by Wilbur whilst Oscar looked on with big timid eyes, I was hooked. I now look at black cats in a totally different light and think they are beautiful. I can't truly understand why I ever thought otherwise, but I do hang my head for my original thoughts and perceptions. It is disappointing that they were not even prepared to meet the kittens before making up their minds, but I am sure the girls will go to homes where they are loved for being themselves and not for what they look like. (Just ask Oscar & Wilbur about finding a home like that....)

As a slave to two absolutely gorgeous, loving, adoring, happy black cats, I find it impossible to understand why folks don't like them.
 Like humans, all cats are the same under the fur so WHY the intense dislike of black ones. Does this dislike occur in other areas of lives I wonder...... Huge big WELL DONE YOU for telling them to go and get stuffed and I am sure you will not struggle to find loving caring homes for these wonderful little tiddlers.
