Not yet but I have been promised for my 30th (3 years) I can have two kittens to add to the hoard.

I have to be so restrained as I am a sucker for taking in waifs and strays.

I joined PF before I got any cats and one of my first postings was to ask if I should get two kittens instead of one.

9 months later as I type this, with Oscar on one side of my lap and Wilbur on the other side, the rest, as they say, is history

I had Henrick, Buffy the hamster, Dizzy, Syd and Elvis the cats and Snakey Lakey the fish. I now have 8 rats, 4 cats, 2 dogs, 7 gerbils, 8 mice, and snakey lakey the fish. Can we sue pet forums for making us into animal addicts?

I first joined PF a couple of years ago when I was grieving over having to have Abby pts. Last Jan Shadow joined me and a couple of months ago Puss Puss joined us. So yes two cats this year for me

Yes!!! 100% of an increase..... Joined with 2 cats but now have 4.

HOWEVER..................

In fairness, I joined because the OH had expressed a desire to have his own cat (both of the boys are 'my' gorgeous babies and I had them before I had the OH) and he wanted cat cuddles of his own. So I came on here asking about adopting a girlie cat as I couldn't face going to a rescue and saying "I'll have that one!" and leaving all the others behind (I wouldn't say I am soft but I have been known to blub at the Andrex Puppy adverts!!! ).

Long story short, the lovely Kelly-Joy pointed me in the direction of Patsy's web-site, and not long after that, the lovely Abby came to Moggy Towers. We then felt that the age gap between her and the boys was too much and she needed a playmate her own age - and McGee arrived (also from Patsy) 3 months later.

4 however is definitely the limit!!!!!! We can't afford anymore (without compromising the care quality of the current 4) and Merson would not be able to cope. He takes far too long to accept 'newbies' and my own stress levels would be sky-high!!!!
