No I haven't got a cat, grew up with cats and love them. I have always wanted a cat but my husband has been reluctant, even he can't resist a stray

ooooh well if this one has an owner, there are so many strays in the shelter...I´m sure you can take him there on a false errand and get him to fall inlove.

Re: Cat Found Devon nr Cullompton

Another update, no phone calls from potential owners. Dilys spent the first day sitting on the landing meowing at me. I fed her there and put the litter tray near by. I went to work at 5pm and returned at midnight to find she had been exploring the house and had wee'd on the sofa! So today I shut her in the kitchen with food, cat bed and litter tray. Came home to find she had wee'd on the cat bed. Read lots of posts on her and thought she might not like the wood pellets in her litter tray. I went out to buy more litter and while I was out she did a poo in the tray, so I cleaned it out and refilled with new litter. Went to work at 5pm and put Dilys in the kitchen while I was out, she did a wee in the litter tray this time.
Do you think I should still shut her in one room while I am out? And how long for? I have a Feliway plug in. She seems to be scared of going onto the sofa or bed and stays on the floor. She slept under the bed last night while I was in bed and follows me around the house.

Re: Cat Found Devon nr Cullompton

I hope she settles in, You are very kind and giving her a chance. I think kitty just needs a bit of time to come round to her new surroundings etc., and her very kind new slave.

Well done to you. Have a very nice Christmas and Fab new year.
