The Silent Miaow.

Anyone else read this book by Paul Gallico ?

It was recommended to me and searched the local bookshops for it with no luck. Eventually managed to get two used copies from Amazon, one for me and one for a friend.

Basically its a book of instruction for kittens, strays and homeless cats on how to win over a household and be set for life. Its a good read and if you have ever been adopted by a stray you will know why they pick you

In fact you may think they have read it !!!

Re: The Silent Miaow.

How ironic for me that you should post this today - I'm reading The Silent Miaow at the moment, it arrived yesterday from Amazon.

I love the bit about convincing the man of the house to allow you to stay

Re: The Silent Miaow.

Read it, adored it, passed it on to my sister. The funny thing is, I've never read it until recently because I thought it was going to be a sad book, but it isn't at all. My sister hadn't read it for the same reason. It's a delightful book.
