Pet insurance.

I am currently with Tesco but have been wondering whether I should change to Petplan.

Any thoughts?

Re: Pet insurance.

I have Oscar insured with petpals ( because they will cover his pre existing as part of his life cover) and Rosie is with Petplan because they offer £7000 life cover, which is more than petpals £5000 life cover which I realised with oscars accident was only just enough! If petpals did more cover I would have insured Rosie with them also because I've no complaints with how oscars claim was handled hope that helps

I'm with pet plan and feel I have the cover I need at a reasonable price, whether you change your policy from Tesco's to Pet Plan i cant really advise as i dont know what the cover you already have is.The one thing I would point out though is that if you have any existing illness's or such, a new insurer will probably not allow you to claim for anything in the future which may be connected to them.Sometimes changing insurer may not be a wise move.

^^^^ What she said

I'm with Petplan and I do think it's good cover for the cost and think you could do worse than swap if yours have no pre-existing conditions. I know nothing about Tesco cover though.

The unfortunate thing is that you only know how good your cover is when you have to claim
