Oh wow, Kinley, you got 3 cats now?! I remember when u just had Lexie!!

Not been on the forums since before Christmas, so missed alot!! As you can see, I suddenly adopted a gorgeous new playmate for Treacle yesterday, and they're getting on soooooooooo well!!!!!!!

Hi yeh, I'm fine, just had no time during December!! We were offered Jumpy on 23rd December, coz he belonged to my friend's neighbour, who had just had a baby and he was jealous of the baby and trying to jump up at the smell of her milk!! So they really wanted him to be rehomed! We met him that day, he was very sweet but then he started to smell Treacle on us, and did some loud growling!!! So we said no, coz we thought they would fight! But then after Christmas, our friend said they still wanted us to take him, and we knew that Treacle liked other cats so we said let's go for it! Best decision ever!!!!

While that's a silly reason to rehome a cat (unless of course they genuniely tried to make it work before rehoming), I'm glad Jumpy has found a forever home with you.

That's what we thought!! If I had a baby, I certainly wouldn't give away a cat. That's why we said no when they first offered us Jumpy on 23rd December, but as they were still desperately wanting us to take him 2 weeks later, we did! We knew that Treacle was born around lots of cats and always got excited whenever he saw cats in our garden, so we felt he would enjoy another one. Best decision ever!!

However, I do think they were silly for getting Jumpy so close to the birth of their child - Jumpy is only 4 months now, and the baby was born the week before Christmas, so they must've got Jumpy when the woman was a good 7 or 8 months pregnant...!!

Awwww, look, what a sweet little kitty...... so nice for baby to play with.......
Never even realizing that a kitten will soon be a cat, and that baby will not be old enough to play with a pet for a couple of years.
