I have started using wood pellet litter I find it does not smell like the grey clumping litter does. Does anyone else use it. Also the cat does not tread around leaving grey damp marks around the kitchen from her paws.

Have been told its very good and soaks up the urine well to. Although havent used it my self.

Yes we use it too for our adults/kitts and we all love itThe clumping grey one we found that it retains the smell and is very dusty too,the small wood pellets just smell of pine

Thanks for all your comments . Perhaps they will help others to give it a try .
My cat tends to use one end of the tray so that I can remove the pellets from that end with a scoop (The damp pellets shake down into sawdust and are easy to remove. ) I then top up with fresh pine smelling pellets. This way it works out very economical and I do a full clean out weekly.

We've always prefered the wood pellets, no were near as much smell. We even use it in the bottom of our parot cage.

We use this at the shelter, and I use it at home. The only complain about it I have is... Mog kicks it out of the tray, and standing on the pellets really hurts!

My opinion is my own, and I have the right to express it.

We wouldn't use anything else.

It holds the smell much better and is easier to clean. The only drawback is powder trails but they can easily be cleaned up.
