Re: Cat litter
Only if your kitten decides to eat it (and that's mainly for the clay ones) and eat a fair bit- none of my kittens have ever taken more than a small nibble and then spat it out. Many, many cats are raised on clumping litter without a single problem … it's slightly erroneous to shout about how dangerous it supposedly is without the reason why and stats to back it up.

Re: Cat litter
I use clean and tidy multi cat litter.
I've tried just about everything. Was hoping cats best would be the answer to my prayers but it tracked absolutely bloody everywhere (Bobs is a kicker with the litter) and the place smelled of wee (maybe mine just have pungent wee). Clean and tidy isnt cheap but it clumps brilliantly and I use a 7kg bag every week and a half or so. Even with filing it deep with 3 trays I was running through a whole bag of cats best in less than a fortnight and could still smell cat odour. Mine don't eat this litter and it doesn't seem to stick to their paws at all and doesn't track it stays on the litter mat. |

Re: Cat litter
I use Catsan Hygiene - it's non-clumping, but there really is no smell and never sticks to the litter tray so the weekly total litter replacement and tray clean is really easy. I have 2 kitties and 2 trays - a 20l bag lasts about 2 weeks.
