Aww that's sweet!! Mai Tai can be found behind the curtain looking out of the window but she doesn't hide anywhere. Gizmo usually hides on a dining room chair under the table and you don't know he's there until you go to sit down

Re: dissapearing kittens!

One of mine managed to get in the carousel cupboard in our kitchen once - couldn't find him for 6 hours and he was curled up in there the whole time!

He meowed when he wanted to come out and that was how we found him

Now if we can't find a cat, we look under all the beds because that's where they love to curl up and sleep xx

Re: dissapearing kittens!

My kitten (and ones ive had in the past) always seem to climb up through a hole into the back of the gas fire. (It's never used). You can just see their eyes peering out through the vents at the top.

Re: dissapearing kittens!

Waffles used to hide under our collapsible dining table but she is too big to get under there now. I don't think she realises because when she gets frightened she runs at it and smacks her face :|

Re: dissapearing kittens!

I was fostering some kittens and had them in our spare bathroom. I couldn't find a kitten and finally found him in the waste basket looking up at me. He must have jumped onto the toilet seat and slipped into it.

Well, I still don't quite know what it is, but I have had two consecutive litters that have regularly (like twice a day) disappeared under the bath for hours on end (we have no panel on the bath) and they re-emerge when they are ready, they seem to have to climb out fo wherever they are. They only do it up to a certain age and then presumably they grow to big to fit there. It can be rather disconcerting because there is absolutely no way of telling that they are there! With the present litter I have managed to keep them out of the bathroom which makes life a lot easier!

Liz
