A little update on Thomas…

A little update on Thomas… (and a chance for me to gush a little more)

He has settled in brilliantly. He’s basically just come in to our lives, plonked himself down and got on with it all.
He is such a lovely boy. He knows to spend time wooing my husband so he is quite taken with him now.
He’s using his little tray like a little pro and even half way through playing he will scoot off and have a wee then come back
I’ve put the hood on the tray now and even the little swing door. Think when he’s fully grown it will be too small for him but should be ok for a year or so at least.
I’ve started mixing in a bit of Smilla with his Whiskas now so we’re on the way with his changeover. Taking it very slowly though and so far so good.
He has a great balance between being very playful but also enjoying his snuggles.
My son loves him and they are getting on great, they are having great fun playing football together with the balls from his ball pool. A great little bond developing. I am taking it very carefully as I want it to be a lifelong friendship between them. Plus no allergies!!
Next week he is going for a weigh in and wormer so I know the vet will be happy to meet him. Looking forward to showing him off.
His eye is totally fine now and we’ve finished his course of antibiotics.

I have never known such a confident, relaxed and well adjusted kitten and I think this is down to the great upbringing his breeder has given him and the fact he was with his mother and brother until he was 16 weeks old must have helped a great deal.

In short… I am thrilled with him. I will have to take some more pics soon.

What a lovely update.

I am so glad that you are all settling in so well together and it is GREAT to read that your son is bonding so well with Thomas without any health issues at all. That is fantastic for both of them!

Just got one little point to pick at you on........
