The moments of the day Merlin enjoys most are:
-When I wake up.
-When I open the tap a bit for him to play with the water.
-When I tie my shoelaces.
-When I feed him.
-When I come back from work.
-When I untie my shoelaces.
-When I feed him again
-When I tap his hindlegs (he just becomes very still and lies upside down).
-When I pretend that I cant see him and hide behind a door.

He does not understand why I go to bed, his day has just started.

With #1 cat Bola it's finding one or both of next doors two toms have wandered into my garden/his patch, a close second is him seeing them anywhere as this seems to be the perfect excuse to try and start a fight. All the more strange for what had previously been the most friendly-towards-strangers cat I've ever known.

He looks forward to a good belly-rub, tho' this usually ends up with him not so gently playfighting with my hand/arm.

With #2 cat Fudge, it's being left alone to snooze the day away, plus the waiter service she gets from me at meal times.

Manny's is when I hang his bird toy over the door and he can go loopy with it, oh and also when he's fed!!

They do seem to have one thing in common

At the moment my boys are really enjoying 'advent calendar' each morning

Normally though, Bloo's highlights are nuzzling me awake in the morning so he can have cuddles, going into the backyard, having bozita in his bowl and playtime with the trixie nub ball. Freckle's highlights are bellyrubs on the radiator beds, playing fetch with his fluff bunny, stealing some of my dinner (especially if it's pizza) and watching the little birds in the morning.

And of course both love it when my OH and I come home from work

Meal times, and they never let me forget. About half an hour before meal time the litter beggers start running and jumping everywhere and generally misbehaving. The only way I can stop them is to feed them.

Its almost a zoo at home,but we love them all.

Tia's highlight is when I turn the heat on and she can cuddle on top of her scratch post right against the radiator. She also enjoys a sneaky cuddle in bed with me from time to time, although she pretends not to.

Millie's huge highlight at the moment are those little crinkly balls that you can buy, oh, and a spring toy with a sparkly ball on the end. She goes nuts whenever she finds one on the floor! The real fun starts when I go to bed though. This is her favourite time of the day as I'm in a perfect cuddling position. She usually waits till I'm asleep before asking for cuddles, but gets so excited and happy if I even twitch in the bed (she knows movement usually closely preceeds cuddles) that she rubs her head and body on me so hard that she actually falls over!

Oscar's new thing is to stay somewhere high (back of sofa/chair/closed toilet lid etc) and wait for me to pass by and then go on his hind legs, one front paw either side of my neck and wait for me to lift him up. Then he nuzzles each side of my neck and purrs incessantly and has an expression on his face that says 'this is too good to be true...'
Duncan is SO jealous as he never gets this treatment from Oscar.

Wilbur's highlight is when Oscar moves out of the cat cube and he gets a chance to sit in it.
