Re: our first kitten
Start of just having her in one area, maybe the kitchen or spare room then gradually let her have more freedom. This was she develops a sense of security in her surroundings much easier.
How old is she? Try to bring a blanket or something familiar from her current home, something with a familiar scent on it. |

Re: our first kitten
Good luck with the new kitten and plz keep us informed of his/her progress , not forgetting pics too, something else thats always a good idea is to get some cat-nip and rub it into the cats scratch post, it will encourage the kitten to use the post instead of your furniture....best wishes......Chris

Re: our first kitten
They really are best left with mum till they are 12 weeks. It's all about learning valuable social skills. You will have a much more well adjusted kitten if she has another 4 weeks or so with mum. Could you put a deposit down and ask them to keep her? You could visit in the meantime.
You are getting a valued family member here so makes sense to give her the best possible start. Please see if you can do this, it's so important |
