Some of you may remember me posting on here about Basil and Sybil - we adopted them from an animal rescue two weeks ago. Sybil is now out and about lots (although still wary of people - she seems to let me come near her but legs it when Aaron comes home!)

Was having a cuddle with her yesterday and I realised how skinny she is for the first time! She's quite fluffy so you can't tell by sight - I could literally feel each rib quite clearly and her spine, so am making sure she's eating all her wet food three times a day and leaving some dry food out in case they both want a snack while we're out.

We haven't had a 'bed accident' from Basil for about a week so hopefully that means he's settled. And it looks like his conjunctivitis and ear mites have cleared up after a week of medicine.

They both get on great - hunting and chasing each other around the house, they play fight a lot and sometimes I wonder whether it's real or not! Sybil was grooming Basil a while ago though so they can't really hate each other I don't think!

Bit of a pointless post I suppose - but think my friends may be getting bored of my cat chat!

Glad to hear they're settling in....my two chase and fight alllll the time - but I know they love each other really, especially when I catch them both curled up on the same bed on top of the cat tree

Pointless posts are just fine.....but a pointless post with photos, would be MIGHTY fine.
