Re: Kitten biting?
Is she flicking her tail before she bites or just doing it as a playful reaction? Jaffe used to do this a lot when he was little and play fighting. Just stay very still and blow on them gently. If you are still they get bored and the blowing will is an unpleasant sensation to a cat so will stop them from doing it but it has to be an automatic reaction to the biting otherwise it doesn't work.

Re: Kitten biting?
Ah yeah definitely playing. It's a habit that needs to be broken as the teeth are only gonna get sharper. It is not good that she is biting your daughter is there a way to keep them separate during her stay? If not my other thought is a time out when she does it? The sitting still and blowing definitely worked on Jaffe and if he got very rough he got put out in the hall for 10 mins till he calmed down.
