Yeah I do agree with that as Toebe and Oscar never tracked litter at all. Jaffe has a fancy litter tray that is supposed to stop tracking but the way he uses it means it does end up on the floor (the rug did stop it from ending up all over the flat though).

Re: not happy with oko !!!

I luurve oko I have the p@h mat infront of both trays and it does catch alot of bits, but I think we're lucky with Purdy as she isn't a digger in the tray she quickly jumps in, does her business and shoots out again as quick as kittenly possible I hoover once a day anyway after the children so I find it hasn't created any extra work for me hoovering wise and and I find it strangely therapeutic scooping out the clumps

Re: not happy with oko !!!

For those of you with tracking issues,I'd suggest Nature Gold. It's an excellent litter. It's basically OKO but in pellet form. It's specially formulated for long-haired cats so that it doesn't stick to paws or fur. I use it exclusively now (thank you tia for deciding that you'd finally use it!) and it only spreads about a foot in front of the tray. It's really excellent. Even if they jump out of the tray (I know Manny used to do this), most of it drops off their paws before it leaves the tray, particularly if it's a deep box and covered. It's super at masking wee and poo smells, clumps really well and lasts for ages.

Re: not happy with oko !!!

I use Natures Gold because I have long haired cats - it still tracks a little bit but I use the Pets@home tracking mat and it stops there - it only tracks further if I tread on it in stockinged feet and spread it myself. Really guys invest in an tracking mat.
