Im thinking about going with Petplan or Marks & spencers, can anyone offer advice about either? Good or bad.

Re: Which Pet Insurance?

I've been with Sainsburys and didn't think they were very good. I have mine with PetPlan.

Hi,

Have a look below, M&S and Argos usually work out a lot cheaper.

Re: Which Pet Insurance?

I have all mine insured with Petplan. Having worked in the insurance industry all my working life, I really believe them to be the best. Our vet deals with all the claims with them dierct and all we have to do is sign the claim form. We have put in some hefty claims this year and they have all been paid without either any fuss or query and they have been very prompt with paying, as well (and, lets face it, that is the bottom line) I understand that the M & S policy does have no excess, but they do make a hefty hike in the premiums at renewal, but that is only heresay and I stand to be corrected, of I am wrong. As yet, Petplan have not increased our premiums, other than at a reasonable level, to cover increased costs for treatment, etc.

Re: Which Pet Insurance?

Pet plan treated me terribly and never paid a very valid claim. I've had tons of trouble with them hence why i now prefer sainsburys, the offer what is good for my cats.

I have had 2 large claims this year too and pet plan paid out very quickly without any query at all. I was very impressed

Ihave one with direct line (moggy) and one with more than (birman) - good cover it seems with both but haven't had to use it yet.
