As for the girl, she (when healthy) will come into call approximately every 3 weeks (be on call for a week - when she can get pregnant) and be on call again 3 weeks later if she isn't already pregnant, once she has the kittens she can come into call within two weeks, and as her last litter didn't survive then she has probably been in call again since then, I would be very concerned that she is already pregnant and not in any fit state to have babies - again get her spayed ASAP and then your male has nothing to defend his territory over. It is INCREDIBLY unhealthy for an entire female cat to be allowed to call again and again - in fact it can cause a fatal condition where the womb fills with pus.

They are fighting because they are entire - neuter them now and this should stop.

For the soft poos - go back to basics - feed ONLY (no treats, nothing else) boiled chicken and the broth it makes to your boy (and your girl if you can;'t feed them separately) for a week and see what difference it makes - usually within two days you see a change. Then very slowly add back in what you have been feeding him, if it goes soft again the food doesn't suit him and you need to look at better quality wet food. This won't stop him pooping around the house as I'm personally convinced that is because he is entire.

Persians NEED grooming everyday or they will matt awfully and you will have to have them shaved again. I would pop the boy in a smaller room (say the bathroom) on his own (until they have both been fixed) whilst you are out. Put a litter tray in with him, his food and a bed. Most cats don't like to poop where they eat, and a small space will mean that he can't get far enough away from his food to feel comfortable enough to poop. He may not stop pooping lots in or out of the tray until he is neutered. Only let him out of this room when you are home and can supervise him. Don't let him mount the girl either.

Once he is neutered, and you have cracked the soft poops, and he is using his litter tray reliably let him roam the house a little more, but only add one extra room at a time until he is secure in where to poop.

Look at the type of litter you are using and the types of tray - covered or open - a lot of cats like covered trays as they feel more secure. I use two covered trays and clumping litter that I put in really, really deep. I have one upstairs and one downstairs. Have an experiment and see which works best for the cats.

Let us know how it goes.

THANK YOU! I WILL GO BACK THIS OVER AND OVER! AND SINCE THEIR VET IS NOT ON DUTY TOMORROW, I WILL SCHEDULE THEM THE DAY AFTER AND GET THEM SPAYED/NEUTERED.
at first, I was thinking of having kittens, but i changed my mind now since im already getting crazy with two cats, what more when they have kitties..

Please bear with me with my questions that might sometimes be basic or common sense for a pet owner. This is my first time and i am from a country where taking care of pets is not so much of a priority. Plus, my parents think it is just a waste of time and money.
It is nice to feel that im not alone. Makes it easier to adjust. Thanks, really!
Sounds like you've found this forum helpful and perhaps a place where you can meet with people who have different views from your country and your parents, not to say that they are 'wrong', it is culture and each country has their own way how they prioritise 'taking care of pets'

Imagine is difficult to adjust to a new country and feel free to drop by in this forum any time even if it's not a cat related questions. If you take a look at the different threads, there is also one for introductions as well.

Let us know how you get on at the vets and as others have already shared, you may find after your cats are neutered/spayed, might make some difference to the current situation

Nothing you really need to prepare for, just try and keep them quiet for a while until their wounds heal but you will probably find that quite difficult, although if they get done at the same time they will both probably be feeling a bit groggy.

You should remove all their food about 12 hours before the spay/neuter operations, or it could make them sick when they are under the anaesthetic, and that can be very dangerous!

Hun, you ask as many questions as you need to and we will all do our best to help. Just remember that you are talking to mad cat people who adore their cats over everything else so the advice will always be what is best for your cats.

Once the cats have been spayed, you will start to see a huge difference in their behaviour. I would recommend that you follow the advice given by Spid to the letter as it is exactly what you need to do.

It sounds as though both of these cats have not had the best start in life and I am so happy that you have taken them on and are trying to do what is best for them. It won't happen immediately but over the coming months you will start to see the rewards of your labours in how well they will look, how good their coats become and how much affection they will give back to you.

Cats are wonderful creatures. I look forward to seeing pictures of them both once they get more sorted and settled.
