Worming and flea treatment

Hi,

As some of you might know, my little baby kitten Charlie is 4,5 months now. He has been wormed and flea treated every month. I have been told previously that until they 6 months old they should be treated every month, then the gap increases.. Can actually tell me how it should look like? When do we stop monthly visits to vets? And also vet told me today that for worming tablet I do not have to bring Charlie with me, or even make an appointment, just come in and buy it..
Can you please advise how it should be dealt with..

Re: Worming and flea treatment

i buy 6 month pack of advocate - neck spot stuff that does fleas & worms
and, once the little is neutered - they'll only go for 1 routine appointment a year (check up & jab)

Yep - my vet (nurse) told me last week that it should be advocate once a month til 6 months, with milbemax, then they would just need Drontal, once every six months.

Although this is the first person to tell me that - and it wasnt the vet
