Talking My Cat the Kleptomaniac

Today as I was waking up I spotted Jaffe on the chest of draws playing with my tube of lip balm. I went to grab it off him and he jumped off and ran under the bed with it. So being that it was my last tube I stuck my head under the bed to retrieve it...

Under the bed Jaffe has made himself a little nest of all the things he has stolen, Including;

3 hair ties
2 shiny hair clips
4 tubes of lip balm
1 book of 2nd class stamps
1 electric toothbrush head
1 candle lighter
2 pens
1 very mangled doctors appointment card
1 very old, very chewed bit of carrot
and last but not least 1 pair of knickers!

I honestly couldn't believe my eyes at the amount of stuff he had stolen and so many things I have been looking for, for ages!

Do you think he is collecting them to sell on the black cat market for some high quality nip?

With Mika it's disposable lighters!!!... I'm worried he might have hatched a plan to set fire to Rosso's tail while he's sleeping

We got posh pot pouri which is now so old it has no smell on it, but some of the stuff is really pretty and decorative as opposed to anything, this is lilly's favourite.

At least you found the stash, id keep checking !!!a nip is awfully addictive

So not only is Mika a Klepto he is also a Pyro Jaffe has a thing for knocking lighters under the sofa. I haven't looked under there yet but I can imagine there is a huge collection under there.

So do you find it all over the floor or are they stashed somewhere? I'm sure there are plenty of other things he has stolen in his various hidy holes around the house. I'm also missing a fork that I'm hoping will turn up soon

Re: My Cat the Kleptomaniac

Our old MC used to come home with all sorts before we moved I think the most embarrasing thing was the end of someone's knitting he came over the fence with it in his mouth all proud of himself, I got hold of it & wound it back up to the fence, looked over & it was threaded all round the neighbours garden then over there fence into their next doors

Believe it or not, we have a sideboard which has legs and its about 4.5 inches off the floor, lilly does a fab spatchcock cat impression and thats where she hides everything including a treatball, which can just about fit under there.

Theres no lighters at ours so i know we are safe there but lord knows what the christmas bauble effect will be

Re: My Cat the Kleptomaniac

little boggers

I'm ashamed to say the knickers he had stolen where also unclean. I have no idea how he got them as all dirty clothes go straight into the wash basket He also likes to try and play with my bras and got the clasp caught in his tail once. He completely freaked out when he thought it was chasing him round the house LMFAO

I dread to think what Jaffe would "collect" if he had access to the outside world.
