Re: Please help I really need advice...
nothing will happen and i wouldn`t let that attitude worry you at all.
you are not at liberty to allow rspca officers into your home and you don`t have to speak to them. Basic legal advice for pet owners http://the-shg.org/The%20Law%20and%20the%20RSPCA.htm Last edited by diablo; 18-12-2011 at 10:04 PM.. |

Re: Please help I really need advice...
Thanks diablo, that's a weight off of my mind.
Yes my house number is on my gate... Think it was to unnerve me as I was asking her to keep her cat in during the night at least! |

What a lot of cheek she's got--her cat comes in and makes itself at home in your house, and she's trying to tell you it's your problem??? And claims the RSPCA agree with her? maybe you should spray her with water tinged with ammonia as well as her cat

Re: Please help I really need advice...
Bet she never spoke to them at all and is making the whole thing up. Ask for the name of the person she spoke to, so that you can also phone "for advice" as well!
![]() This reminds me of an argument my dad once had with the man across the road, who's dog was free to roam and never got taken out for proper walks. Every day, at a regular time, it was let out, came straight across the road, jumped over the low wall and produced a dollop on my father's front lawn. (My father is very proud of his lawn, and spends hour treating it, scarifying it, rolling it, etc). He got the same response several times, his problem to keep it out etc, until eventually he was pushed too far. Dog came over as usual, did its doings, my father went out with a shovel picked up the offensive pile, took it across the road and shoved it through the owner's letterbox. ![]() It didn't happen again. ![]() |

) that roams around out the back and several times our three have coming storming into the front room followed by a loud bang at the back door. When I've gone to look there has been a big ginger face at the cat flap. They were quite twitchy for a few days but I think probably quite relieved he couldn't get in the house, and he seems to have given up for now. Very glad we bought this and we haven't been invaded! |

Re: Please help I really need advice...
If it were me I'd load a massive, high pressure super soaker (I can lend you one if you live near me) with cold water and ice cubes and then I'd lie in wait by the cat flap. Soon as he comes in I'd scream at the top of my voice, drop something really heavy and noisy next to him and blast him with the icy water.
If he still comes back after that I'd ...er.....do the same owner as they leave their house ![]()
