I have a 1 year old tom this morning he didnt come down for any breakfast, and he is so unsettled i have a safety gate at the bottom of the stairs so my puppy doesnt get up and he sat and meowed which is very unusual as he normally just jumps over plus he has just been sick and just keeps crying on

Re: can someone please help

The only advice I can offer is that you take him to see a vet. If he isn't jumping over the stairgate perhaps he is in pain. It may be nothing but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

What is making you mention anti-freeze in particular

Are you thinking he has been eating or drinking something that might have made him unwell?

Re: can someone please help

Anti freeze is very toxic and tastes sweet, zo cats are attracted to it. There have been cats who drank from anti freeze that had been spilled or had leaked out of a car, but there have been reports of active, deliberate poisoning with the stuff by cat and dog haters.
