Max has the devil in him today

I got all the strays dinners ready and was starting to take them outside Max has learnt in the last couple of days to jump on the worktops just like a bolshie teenager he will not listen to no i came back to get the second lot of cat food for the strays just to see Max jump up and pull a complete bowl of whiskas down on my rug in front of my sink so I cleared up then as it is rubbish day I have to get all recycling out, food, pink sacks, and black sacks plus clean Rio the Rosella out all before 7.15 as my rubbish men start before 7.30. So I am cleaning Rio out and Max decides he wants to join in even though I clean him out every day being a large bird I have to scrub his bars daily and Max was getting covered in bird s**t so I clean Max up get the rubbish out and go up for a shower while in shower Max pulls the printer down luckily it's still working . I really think Max is going through the terrible teens oh I forgot he keeps taking flying leaps onto Tiga's back and upsetting him he won't do it to Mikki as he knows she will strike him back I hope he passes this phase soon or my slightly greying hair will be pure white soon

Re: Max has the devil in him today

Sounds just like a normal day in my life .21 months old and Meeko has hit the "Terrible Two's" .He is so naughty (in a cute way) at the moment.I made the mistake of clearing kitchen cupboards over the last couple of days and although he has never ,ever ,shown an interest in them before ,his lifes ambition at the moment is to open them and climb inside, which involves kicking the contents out first. He has also rekindled his love of the "running tap"in the kitchen sink game,so I have a kitchen that looks like a monsoon has hit it

I cannot remember Mikki or Tiga being this naughty although they probably were max is not happy unless he is getting into mischief at 6 months on the 1st of december it looks like I have a fair way to go lol Tiga and Mikki are so good it's a culture shock when Max gets in to mischief he has me in stitches most of the time he is a real comedienne and just like Meeko he tries to get into cupboards but cannot it is usually the sweetie cupboard he tries he also runs around my clean bath with muddy paws never mind it stops me getting bored

Re: Max has the devil in him today

God I sympathise!!! Bugs is DEFFO in the bolshy teenager stage!!! He is on the kitchen work surfaces all the time and like you said he just does NOT take NO for an answer. He has also started jumping onto my Bakers Rack and climbing all over the stuff on there (his Christmas toys are up there at the mo so I have to keep him off!!)

He completely bowled Chewitts over today aswel as he was being so hyper!! I love him to pieces but when does this stage end?? Can we go back to when he was a small kitten and was a good boy but still playful!??!?!

Re: Max has the devil in him today

Tango was in his element yesterday the boilerman came to service/fix the boiler & brought his side kick who was 6 foot odd, I was keeping the spots under control well trying to Louie had already shot off up stairs after his fly round the room in panic mode becasue new humans were in the house Tango was in the tool boxes, standing with his paws on the worktop looking at the bottom of the boiler whilst the poor bloke was trying to attatch a hose then he was off out into the yard & all I hear was "help the cats got my hose" by which time Holly had got out of her collar & was health checking the lad at the boiler : o then Louie rushed through just to see if he was realy scared of new humans Banjo was mumberling his head off whcich probably made the poor lads even more uncomfortable then the fussy lot scraped themselves off the bed to come & see what was going on then Tango was back in the tool box whilst they were trying to pack up as quick as possible not sure they will be back to service it next year

Re: Max has the devil in him today

Oh dear you poor peeps Sorry but all of these naughty antics have had me laughing out loud
When Mai Tai was a kitten we had a new boiler and a couple of new radiators fitted and I remember the poor lad who was half in one of my cupboards, feeding the pipe through, yelling for help because there was a kitten sitting on his shoulders trying to assist She also followed one of them up into the roof to help examine the water tanks

Lol I know what you mean Mikki's favourite place is the airing cupboard ( she even warms her feet on the boiler) I have told the vet she does this and he said not to worry she knows what she is doing so when the boiler man comes to serves our boiler she really takes the hump lol I have never known a cat love heat so much as my Mikki but when any service man visits I always panic have they left the door open and I am constantly counting the furries talk about my house is a madhouse
