when?

when is it safe to get another cat, i still want a british shorthair hair, and would like all my cats to be similar ages if possible. but how long after my kittys getting over the flu should i wait please xx

I'd give it six months - just in case you get reoccurrences - mind you that gives you loads of time to find a breeder.

As cat flu can be recurrent I would wait at least six months before bringing another cat/kitten into the household.

The last thing you would want to do is bring a healthy kitten into the house and for them to get it as well.

Also, your two have to get better and should be vaccinated before a new cat arrives. (Don't know if this has been done now, but I remember reading previously that Lexie had not been vaccinated)
