Our new kittens-pics!
Back in August we adopted 2 black and white kittens from Battersea, we fell in love and wanted to offer more rescue cats homes so we went to Celia Hammond and took home 2 white kittens a boy and a girl.
The kittens are slowly settling, it's their first day with us, they are eating well and using the litter tray. I gave them their first grooming today, Eve (long haired) was quite good, I also trimmed the hairs around her bottom so that she can feel a little more clean (and so I don't have to look at the yellow and brown stains lol!). She hasn't come out a lot, she tends to sit in the corner behind the sofa, but will come out to play I keep forgetting they're younger than Honey n Willow and need more rest. She seems to like the toys we have, but so far she's still getting used to her new environment and family. Adam is a happy lad and seems pretty happy in his new diggs, though still cautious. They know there are other cats in the house, I've given them one of the little cat trees and Eve seems happy in there despite the scent of Honey who usually sleeps there. Honey and Willow have got used to the scent of the new kittens on my hands now, I'm deliberately going to pet them and then I offer my hands to H&W at first they both hissed in particular Honey, but now she isn't fussed, especially because she gets a treat for being good.
Honey and Willow are really curious about the new cats and sit outside the door trying to get a look in, but I'm keeping them out until the new cats settle and are comfortable with their new human family before I let the cats meet each other properly.
Hoping the intros will be smooth
