We always take our shoes off in the porch - never ever come inside with shoes on. Visitors also have to take their shoes off - sometimes get a funny look for a minute, but think they understand after being told that the kittens will eat anything off the floor - so don't want anything being brought inside on the bottom of shoes

Now because the kittens are not used to seeing anyone in shoes, even if we bring our shoes inside and just put them on some paper in the cloakroom, well the kittens are obsessed with sniffing and just won't leave the shoes alone

End result is, if any shoes are brought inside, they have to be sided away immediately

Does anyone else take their shoes off and mess about like me

My two chew everything so nice shoes go straight into a cupboard

Mine love the smell of my boyfriends shoes and try and climb inside them - but they are now too big to get in so their butt sticks out into the air

My Milly doesn't chew shoes but when she was a kitten she used to get inside them a lot. (picture attatched)
