Re: How often do you tell your children that you love them?

when it comes to my babies I'm that annoying mum who is constantly kissing them and telling them i love them. The downside to this is I'm created monsters they know they can get away with so much and how good they have it, we used to get other cats coming in cause it was cat crazy here.
But whenever i let dex oout i always make the extra effort of telling hhim i love him and again when he comes in lol but tbh i say it about every 2 hours lol but I'm insane
MoggyBaby, Lumboo and sarahecp like this.

Re: How often do you tell your children that you love them?

Quite a few times a day, cuddle times and random times : D when I leave for work in the mornings, I always say, bye Seb, bye Frank (even if Frank's out) mummy loves you, be good boys and at bedtime, night, night, mummy loves you, see you in the morning

Re: How often do you tell your children that you love them?

I am not the kind of person to say I luv' u - luv' u - luv' u - luv' u - luv' u - luv' u 100 times over, but I do call Ricky 'my darling lovely little man', or my 'ricketick' (being the Dutch imitation of the sound of one's heart), so in fact I am telling him my heart is saying his name all the time.....
Gaudi is my sweet little baby boy, Josje is my lovely pretty darling, Xena is my big baby, and Catweazle is my gorgeous wonderful darling....
Tosca is my lovely little wildcat, my pretty country girl.....

They all have a number of pet names that express my love for them.

So in fact, I tell them all the time, by using their loving pet names and by the intonation of my voice. And I do tell them to be good, to be nice to each other while I am away and to look after each other and the house.....

More often than I can keep track of. My OH and I aren't big on exchanging endearments with each other, but we certainly make up for it when it comes to the cats.

I do this to Merson whenever I let him out. He gets extra cuddles, a great big kiss and sweet nothings whispered in his ear before he gets out the back door!!

Well, I need to make sure he has a good reason for coming back home again!

Re: How often do you tell your children that you love them?

I tell all my loved ones that I love them every day, usually more than once a day; husband, son & Furbies (sadly not the fish though...)

Thankfully, all return the love to me through words, gestures and super loud purring.

Sadly on this forum I am often told I have given out too much love for one day (green reps!) - as if there is ever any such thing!
I have also been told I need to 'spread it around a bit more'!

Honestly techi's make up your mind! I can't be a nun and a sl*t at the same time
