flea spray

this afternoon i sprayed my 8 week old kitten with flea spray(frontline) . she still has fleas running on her . how long does it take to kill the fleas ? or should i give her another spray i only used two little squirts and it wasnt enough to cover her obviously so is it possible that i didnt use enough or does it not work immedietly ?

Re: flea spray

Aww 8 weeks is so little. What has your vet advised?
It is really important that these critters are gone very quickly as they can make such a wee kitten very poorly!
Never used a spray so cannot advise but someone will be along soon I am sure

Re: flea spray

If I was you I would book her in at the vets asap and get them to give her a check up and provide you with decent flea and worming treatment.

i was going to take her tommorow but someone said 9 weeks for the first injection. i have some kitten wormer here and the frontline . ive been hunting online and it looks like the spray doesnt kill them straight away so hopefully even tho i didnt manage to cover her it will still work.

Re: flea spray

Please don't give her any wormer unless it is from your vet. Over counter products are useless and can make them very poorly. I'd take her tomorrow for check up, flea and wormer then vet can advise on vacs.
Keep us posted.
I'd love to see pics too
ever expanding likes this.
