Re: when to vaccinate and neuter a kitten

1st vac at around 9 weeks, 2nd vacs about 3 weeks later.

Neutering depends on your vet. A lot go for 6 months of age, some go by weight.

Mine has agreed to neuter the babies next month, and they will be almost 4 months, but they were weighed today and were 1.5k - I think vets like them to be 2k - but dont quote me on it

Re: when to vaccinate and neuter a kitten

early neutering is gaining favour - some vets do them from 8-12 weeks old - the cats bounce back a lot quicker afterwards - there isn't a problem with it -early vaccination on the other hand does present problems as the antibodies from mums early milk interferes with the vaccinations and renders them useless so you have to do it again. SOme countries have different vaccinations policies, some have 3 sets of jabs not two and at different ages.
