look who's c(h) atting?

okay guys, maybe am seriously heading for crazy cat woman down the luny bin..

as of late and no kidding, I swear I am hearing my cats talk to me, it's most odd, not that you can hear the audible voice however just like in the move 'look who's talking' am hearing them speak with words you and I would use, not cat miaows.

Yesterday kitty came back having had his 'chop and chip' and as he was 'hobbling' about, anaesthetic wearing off and licking the area operated on, I could hear this groaning little boy's voice, hard to describe it, he was saying along the the lines of, 'oooooooooooo ooooouch this is sore, what's happened down here, where's the loo, why is she looking at me like that, I just want to lie down somewhere quiet..'

Earlier in the week, the older boy comes up to the door as I get in, pawing at my leg and in a whiny voice, 'Wwwwwwwwwwwwwhy did you leave me, where've you been, stay still so I can jump onto your shoulder... how could you leave me for so long' (just for the record, was gone less than an hour)

And they both have different voices to reflect their personalities. Am I going completely bonkers especially if I'm finding myself talking back, reflecting what I think I heard them say, I know hubbie works abroad and I'm the only human in the house, come on this is crazy, somebody tell me???

There goes one crazy cat lady!

I would say get out more, but why would you want to?
We've actually stopped going to the pub since having our kittens last year. And we don't miss it one bit. Just like being with them so much.

But they haven't spoken to us in English yet.

Re: look who's c(h) atting?

Why should they speak in English, or Dutch or French????
They have their own very expressive language.

Got to go now, Gaudi is whining.
I just got home from work and he wants some ATTENTION.
And they had the cleaning lady in all morning, she is their furry godmother and spoils them rotten.
So what is he complaining about?????

Simple, he wants attention from ME and he wants it NOW!!!!

So who's the crazy cat lady now??????

Either it's utter codswollop or you need to see a medical professional.
