I took my cat to the vet for a check up last week and mentioned a scab on her chin that vet said was nothing to worry about but it has been there for over a week now and still not getting better so I am going to give it another week and if it still hasnt healed she will be going back again!!

You stick to your guns hun this 'friend' doesnt seem like that great a person so dont worry about it!!!
My at had a scab on her chin, and the vet picked it off, and it healed up straight away !

You know, I have a friend who is just like that, so I've stopped talking about my cat to her. You just carry on being a responsible pet owner, and she can carry on being an irresponsible pet owner !

A scab on the chin sounds like may be kitty acne, which they can apparently get from plastic bowls! Treacle's drinking bowl is china, but his fountain is plastic, and he does seem to have a couple of small spots on his chin... not sure how to overcome that as he does love running water

Human beings are just animals too and "in the wild" (before we developed civilisation) we didn't have jabs or medical treatment either. Our ancestors often died young and horribly.

Most of us have moved on since then. Maybe your friend hasn't.
