Re: The Tooth Fairy is coming tonight :-)

I was just wondering - how long does it take for the new tooth to come through to replace the baby tooth?

Can there be a bit of bleeding when a tooth comes out?

Not quite sure, but the vet told me that the teething process can take 3-4 months

There was no blood on his tooth, straw or what I could see in his mouth.

In a little jar somewhere I have stashed one of Larry's cute baby canine teeth along with my OAP Barney's wizened old canine tooth which fell out a couple of years ago. It's about an inch long and kinda gross. Does this make me weird?

I was wondering about bleeding too because a couple of times when Leo has been laying down there is a little bit of dried blood I'm pretty sure its teething related. Haven't seen any teeth fallen out yet. I opened his mouth and could see little "buds" and tiny teeth just poking through.

Ive seen quite a bit of blood with Bugs teething especially when he 'chewed' his back tooth out on plastic so they do bleed
