I've tried cleaning it with loads of different things but nothing is putting him off. My kitchen and living room are open plan so it would mean putting him in a bedroom and he just cries constantly

is there any way you could make a big pen for him to go in for a while? I know it may sound cruel but its only to try and break the habit he seems to be getting into.
