Iheartcats will become famous soon enough
Re: Angry now

I'm just being the devils advocate here but maybe the kitten was taken in at a a really early age due to circumstances. My mum took in an abandoned kitten who was only 4 weeks old at the time. The litle kitten was found abandoned with her litter mates in someone's potting shed.

Could it be the same for you and that the kitten was just let outside for some fresh air and you husband just happened to see it meawing at him?

I'd hate for my mum to have someone question her intentions when India was tiny as she was very well looked after albeit very tiny!

Are your neighbours dodgy by nature? That gives more clues to their intentions. Sounds a little judgemental but it's often the case.

I've had a few glasses of wine tonight so hope I don't come across a bit wierd

Please don't take this the wrong way, but you come across just like my mother. That woman will give anyone the benefit of the doubt--she could see a man with an axe walking down the street with a severed foot in his hand, covered in blood, and she'd tell me I'm being judgmental for thinking he's an axe murderer--he might have just found someone caught in a bear trap and tried to help them out . Sorry, it's been a very long day
