I finally managed to get a urine sample from Spencer last night. Poor boy must have wondered what was going on as he went to go in the litter tray and I moved him to the other with the special litter then realised he was going to poo and not pee so had to move him again

I then caught him about to go behind the tv and put him in the tray and he peed Phoned the vets earlier on and they told me it was fine to put it in the fridge if I got one last night so did that and took it in this morning on my way to work. Told me they will test it this morning and then give me a ring at some point.

So, I'm waiting patiently to find out if there is anything wrong with my boy....

Got up this morning and he'd peed in all 3 areas he's been doing it in, should a cat even pee that much? He does hardly any during the day...

i hope they find a answer for you ...
i had to repaint a house after a repo...every carpet and all the contence was skiped ....it was scrubed from top to bottom ...and a full repaint ...and still a faint cat pee smell.... mind you the .....cats...all 3...had never ever been out side the house in 4 years .......i couldnt get out of that house fast enough...

Hope so hun, when I put him in the tray after he went to go behind the tv he just sort of lay down so not sure if he's in pain. OH's mum said the sample was taken to the surgery's animal hospital about 20 miles away this morning so will hopefully hear this afternoon.
