Not sure what to do
The fire alarm in the communal hall is faulty and has been going off since 9:30am! It's not the first time this has happened but the first time since Jaffe has been here and it is really stressing him out. I called the housing association to report the fault and they said they would send someone out. That was at 10am. So called again an hour ago and said that it was still going off and it is stressing my cat out and driving me up the wall (I've had 2 hours sleeps so was a little irritated by that point) They said no one had reported the fault
but will send someone out. ![]() I have managed to keep Jaffe relatively distracted with toys and treats but I have to go out shortly and leave him on his own for an hour or 2 and I'm really worried he's just going to be more stressed if I'm not here and I don't know what I can do to keep him calm while I'm out. With any luck it may have been in the next hour but from past experience of this it seems unlikely. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Re: Not sure what to do
I have been doing that most of this morning but because it's so loud it still seems to be bothering him. However, I do think it's the best option thank you. Now fingers crossed I don't come back to wee on the floor...
