Getting rid of smells

I've just realised the spray I got is for soft furnishings so can anyone recommend one for getting rid of urine smells from floors?

It's not for me, I need to get rid of the smell so Spencer can't smell it any more as trying to work out whether he's peeing because of infection or whether it's behavioural.

Sometimes I use bog standard floor cleaner - whichever is on offer in supermarket, lol, but I do use washing powder at least once a week too, just to make sure any smells get brokendown from the enzymes in the powder. Sometimes I add a bit of Zolflora to the water too, for the nice smell more than the disinfectant bit, lol!

Of course - I do use it for washing the clothes with too, PMSL!!
kaz25 and skip like this.

I use the gel for washing clothes but will pick up some powder for the floor. I take it that does just as good a job as these sprays that claim they get rid of the smell too?

Re: Getting rid of smells

I think their are products that pet shops sell that kill the smell but I'm not sure what they're called.

Aye - and its cheaper too!!

I am quite old-fashioned really, and dont have a cupboard full of cleaner for this and one for that, I usually keep in a bottle of standard bleach, the bio washing powder, bog standard floor cleaner, Zoflora diluted in a spray bottle, and some soda crystals - which are fabby for everything. I also add many essential oils to the soda crystals and sometimes biacrb too and use that for cleaning with - cheaper and kinder to the enviroment and myself!

I cant use the anti-bac sprays coz they make me wheeze and get breathless, so I thinks what the hell is in them to make me do that?? cant be good!!
