Please can somebody help and identify which breed Basil is. He is about 10 years old and i found him wondering the streets when he was a kitten.

Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest, or nether?

He is the biggest cat I have owned, big boned and paws and a very bushy tail. In the summertime he gets a ruff around his neck which disappears in the winter and is replaced by thick fur, he also have a pure white bib. On the back of his legs the fur is very thick and like spun silk (hates it when i touch him there lol). He does have tiger markings but they are not perfect in symmetry.

Very good temperment and playfull.

looks similar to my foster tilly my vet thought there might be some maine coon in her but i have no clue

He does have that sort of Maine Coon look about him but of course you can never know for sure without knowing his parentage.
He is a gorgeous cat though whatever breed he is

Looks like Maine Coon to me too - its the ears - but the eyes look more NFC to me - but I know nothing!

Maybe he is a MC x NFC?
