Help needed please

Hi there,

Am new to this forum, joined for some HELP, if anyone is able to.

We have a cat - very loved, spoiled and pampered, and as we have a small house, 2 kids and no money, we are not looking for another cat.

Hiowever, one seems to have found us!

A little cat has turned up at our house, crying his head off. He just wants food, drink and cuddles. He also wants to come in but I dont want to let him, so have left him in the back yard with a box, blankets and some cat food and cat milk. He wont go in the box, he is just wanting cuddles all the time.

The back yard has cat fencing to contain our cat kenny, we rae having to keep kenny in the house tonight.

We dont really want another cat but I cant send him away, I feel so sorry for the poor mite. He has been hanging round our street for a couple of weeks, our neighbour took him in for a few days but let him go.

Our plan is:

keep him in back tonight with blankets.

Take to vet in the morning, to get him checked and see if he microchipped...

then (I dont know what next)

All I know is I have 1 very sad and cold cat outside, mewing for cuddles and 1 very insecure and p'd off cat inside, hissing and looking annoyed at the invasion of his territory!

They met briefly and my normally aggressive cat was timid and curuious, but no bushy tail. However, my cat started scratching the other cat and as my cat is due for his boosters in 2 weeks, and as such is possibly not as immune as usual (am I right there?) I did not want to take chances of passing nasties on to my cat.

What should I do??????????????????????????
