What would you do??
I spoke to my other vet surgery today regarding Salem's castrating, however they said that he doesn't weigh enough to be castrated yet he has started humping my daughter's boots he is 6months old, would you recommend getting another opinion? He has seen 2 vet's so far, first wouldn't do it due to him only having one testicle dropped and the other said he doesn't weigh enough

Roscoe got done a month ago, he was 5 months, they did weigh him and said he was fine, canny mind how heavey he was, sorry

How much does he weigh? Is the weight really that important as long as they are healthy? I'm thinking the will operate on really tiny kittens for other reasons.

Maybe ring a couple more vets and see what they say. I know Dotty weighed about 1800gr when she was spayed and she has a grade 2 heart murmour and she was fine.

He is 1.5kg, unfortunatley the vet's near us won't castrate until over 2kg

My little Seb is nearly 15 weeks old and he was neutered at 10 weeks and before I collected him from Patsy at Rushden Persian Rescue.

I think it really does depend on the vet.

he's a little diddler isnt he Have you rung any of the others? are they all of the same view?

He will just have to come and sleep at Aunty Karens, the girls will look after him and my vet is very nice, but he does look an awful lot like Mr Bean which is a bit off putting when talking serious things!!

Mine looks like Patrick Stewart

I would maybe try another vet Malibu - they are all different as to what they will do. Just wondering though - if they dont find the other testicle will he still get the urge to hump and be fertile? I guess he would be

Yes i have read both nuts have to of landed before or another op would be needed
