Animed - Prescriptions A-Z - Prescriptions D-F - Fortekor Flavour Tablets 2.5mg - Single
This company seems to be consistently cheap, and I have bought meds from them no problems.

Re: vet bills

Also there's a much cheaper alternative to Renzalin. You can order phosphorous binders called Alucaps from most chemists-cost circa £8 and last for ages. Can be mixed in with food though need to be given 2 hours apart from Fortekor. Obviously discuss with vet.

Here's a link from Tanya's CRF site about them - the relevant dosage levels calculated according to weigh is further up the page. Incidentally, I would also join the CRF support group where you'll receive some excellent advice.

Tanya's Comprehensive Guide to Feline Chronic Renal Failure - All About Phosphorus

Hope Lucy is doing well.

Our vet only charges £17 for a consultation, £24 for vaccinations, £27 for castration. The most i've spent was £78 for a consultation, antibiotics & Advocate for 2 cats. Shopping around might just save you a few £'s and help ease your worry, i hope you find a solution x
hi we stay in a rural village and there are 2 veterinary practices in the next village which one of them we use,one thing i noticed is there are a chain of them with the same name in other towns nearby so no getting away from them,i chose the one im using just now as its away from the high street and thought it might be cheaper, out here in the countryside they seem to be all out to take your money,i dont know why they dont have a charity vet as one of the towns actually have a pdsa shop.

As long as he realises you're not trying to avoid any necessary check ups there's no reason for him to refuse.
hi i did think of that and asked but they said because i was buying in bigger bulk they would give me a 3 month as thats the way it works supposedly, they would give a 6 month if i was buying 28 fortekor tabs at a time, the company im buying from are called pet drugs online and give you free delivery,i bought 56 fortekor tabs at £21.87 and 150ml renalzin at £19.24 as it is cheaper to buy in bigger amounts, another thing i find unfair is i still only can buy a limited amount within the 3 months, how can this be right!!
