Uh oh, he's seen the suitcase

I've been trying to put off packing until as late as I can, but considering we are off early hours Wednesday morning, I've had to make a start.

I've now got a very clingy Oscar since he has seen the suitcase. He's been laying across my lap for the last 30 mins with no sign of moving.....and I'm dying for a wee
Etienne, Jenny1966 and Oscars mam like this.

Re: Uh oh, he's seen the suitcase

that is the law of sod! I swear cats can tell when you need a wee!

Aww...Bless Oscar. Are you going away for long? Is he staying home or is he off to a cattery? My OH went off to Ireland again this morning and was trying to delay him as much as possible by stealing his stuff, flopping out on the case and standing guard of the front door. It's funny how cats react to the suitcase

We're going away for 8 days. I've got 2 good friends popping in to see to him. Both of whom are animal potty.

Last time he went into a cattery they completely disregarded all the notes that they asked me to leave them about him. Despite providing his food and telling them DO NOT feed him on dry food, when I collected him there was his bowl with this HUGE mountain of biscuits in and not a bit of wet food to be seen!

Re: Uh oh, he's seen the suitcase

That was them when mum and dad house and cat sat, next time am dreading it as they are in a cattery for two weeks, its the first time ive ever used a cattery and a friend recommended it so we have visited and booked it, so not looking forward to it tho, im worried that they will think they have been put back into the homes have got their blankets and our smells ready.

On the suitcase front tho, they lived sitting on/in them, it was the first place we looked if we wanted to find them.

Oh that's awful! I think I would do what you are doing and get friends/family who I know would look after Jaffe the way that I would. I don't think I could trust a cattery.

Re: Uh oh, he's seen the suitcase

It was heartbreaking yesterday, I was packing marco's crap up to move him out, and Storm kept sitting in the suitcase, he didn't want his dad to leave
