Re: leads????
The only trouble with a double lead is that it keeps the cats quite close together. When we take our cat out for a walk with the dog, she first of all runs flat out dragging my leggy teenage daughter with her [really funny to watch by the way!
]. Then she takes ages sniffing every thing and wandering at her pace. Now this isn't an issue as our elderly rough collie has osteoarthritis [sp] and I have ME, so neither of us walk that fast any way. With two cats, that are independant, i can see a walk being stressful for them if they are joined on a double lead. We use a small dog extension lead for Nyx and that works a treat [and is cheaper than a cats extension lead!] Hope this helps and makes sense. |

Re: leads????
I can't imagine taking my two out together never mind on a double lead
I tried it once and one wanted to go one way the other didn't want to go at all I'm sure it works for some people and there's no reason why you can't use a light weight dog lead - I have light weight extending leads for the girls.
