We have been putting out very tentative feelers with regards to taking on Kitty The Second for a short while but hadn't expected to come up with anything quite so soon.

Tomorrow, though, we are picking up a massive, docile, overweight black girl who was on the verge of going into a rescue if she hadn't found a new home by Monday. We're naming her Mildred and she stole our hearts the second we met her.

Icarus is still recovering from his neuter, but we figure they'll be kept separate for a little while anyway so by the time we start introducing them he'll be all healed up.

Spock (2010-2011), who began our love affair with kitties but whose grasp on the green cross code was sadly lacking.
Icarus (2011-...?), who loves noses more than anything else.
Mildred (2010-...?), who sings to the birds.

The twisted brainwrong of a one-off man mental.

How lovely - fate brings along the right cat at the right moment I hope Mildred settles in with you all very quickly and with no problems

Couldnt agree more!! My fate was destined to take Rosie im sure I have only recently started to look at the rescue and adoption pages on here and spotted a few i liked but oh god when i saw Rosie i fell head over heels i cant wait for Sunday!

Definitely fate - same thing happened to us when our Oscar's sister unexpectedly needed a new home. She's perfect and we are so happy fate brought her to us.
